These boots have great cushioned soles, but they aren't wide enough for my feet. I am on my feet walking or climbing ladders for 10 hours a day and the bottoms of my feet felt good all day in these boots. I purchased one size up from normal and they were still too narrow. My pinky toe doesn't fit underneath the reinforced toe area, so it jams into it all day. After the first few days, my toes were so raw that I couldn't walk. I mostly solved this by wearing some silicone gel toe covers (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G9FT9LH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, however my toes still hurt some at the end of the day. If Keen could make an extra wide toe area, these boots would be perfect.Nothing bad about the shoe, just didn't fit. If you have wide feet, go up a sizeThis shoe is comfortable and fashionable for a steel toe. It has good heel and arch support. Looks great in black and you can’t tell they are steal toe.I struggled with what size to buy because reviews led me to believe that sizing up in safety toe shoes is helpful to ensure fit as some said these were too tight - and the Keen size chart didn’t perfectly match my normal shoe size. I’m typically between 7.5-8 womens, most of my sneakers are 8, and my Keen hiking shoes are an 8 and an 8.5. I read another review that included photos of the sizing of the insoles who said she ordered 8 wide and complained it wasn’t wide enough. I compared her photos to measurements of my current insoles and decided to order womens 8 wide rather than sizing up and they’re perfect. The 8 wide in this particular shoe fits like my regular non-wide shoes of the same size. Shoe is comfortable and slightly heavy as expected with safety toe, but is exactly what I needed.I had gone through at least 4 pair of composite shoes and nothing worked. I saw a co-worker with these shoes and she told me they were the most comfortable shoes ever so I decided to try them. She did not lie! I had ordered my size which is 7.5 but they were 1/2” too small so I returned them and ordered an 8 which were perfect! I have been wearing them for a whole week, I have been walking a lot and I am happy to report they are even better than I thought. With Amazon “try before you buy” program, you just can’t go wrong!2nd pair I've had of these and they are great for my terrible feet if they work for me they will work for anyone!I just love these shoes. They fitted perfectly. So comfortable with a nice wide fitting. They look good too really very well designed. I am now 84 and really need such a pair of attractive walking shoes which provide for a very painful ankle injury when I was younger. X-rays show an old fracture. Wish I had been sensible and worn shoes such as these instead of the high heels I lived in for years≥
