Rieker shoes are usually of good quality, I have quite a number of pairsWhy did not discover these sooner? Perfect for walking the halls of the office on concrete! I wear with socks and they are super comfortable!Excellent shoe!I love these shoes but the first pair developed a ‘lump’ under the inner sole of one shoe that made them uncomfortable to wear; they were returned - Amazon’s excellent returns policy.I ordered a second pair and now these have developed a squeak; the same left shoe, and bits of the foam under the inner sole is oozing out; bits appeared on my black socks!! ?I’ll be returning these BUT I’ll still be ordering another pair because - apart from the faults - they’re a lovely shoe and Rieker are a brand that I’ve bought before and loved.I’m sure I’VE just been a bit unlucky so don’t let this review hinder your opinion of this shoe. They really are comfortable - an eight hour shift wasn’t a problem until they both started ‘playing up’. ?Amazon’s excellent Customer Service, quick returns method and super fast refund policy leaves me confident that I have nothing to worry about.Within 2 hours of taking the parcel to the Post Office, I received a notification advising me that my refund had been issued.Third time lucky. ?UPDATE - 27/06/19: Third time lucky it was. These shoes are soooo comfortable. No problems like the previous orders.They’ve taken a battering as I’m on my feet for 8 hours but it’s like walking on air.I’ve been meaning to apply some shoe polish but haven’t got around to doing so yet.I have a Mortons Neuroma and struggle to find shoes that are comfortable and do not aggravate the problem. Have been wearing Skechers Go walk for years but the last couple of pairs I had seemed inferior quality and did not last. I had also broken a metatarsal this year and was struggling to find any shoe that I could wear. Saw the Reiker in a store and purchased online. From day one I could wear them without any problem. They have a very cushioned sole and also look very smart. They are also quite bendy which for me makes them more comfortable.I have a problem with my leg and ankle and need to wear good quality shoes. I like Reiker products and have spent time looking for fit ,price and style. I am very pleased with a mock croc design with patent look in black. I have been replacing foot wear because I now walk differently , this meant being careful about spending. The recent sales have allowed the opportunity to buy for less with out compromising on quality or being limited to one pair.I was so looking forward to wearing these shoes. Unfortunately when I put them, just once, they felt too tight, and I have pretty small feet, not wide at all. I have never had this problem before and I often buy shoes from amazon. Too late to return them cause I've worn them once, and will definitely never again. I was looking forward to get into my car to take them off!!! Very disappointed since I thought Rieker would not make such a silly mistake, that of making their shoes too tight. Otherwise they are very light and I believe they would have been very comfortable if only they weren't so tight. A real pity!!!!! If only Rieker would produce another pair in the same design but wider!!!I bought a very similar designed shoe from Reiker 6 months ago and love them.They are a size 39 and fit perfectly and are very comfortable.Unfortunately this size is not available from this supplier - the size 38 that I chose does not offer such a comfortable fit. I guess that they are UK size 5.Would like Amazon to offer the 5 and a half that I'd prefer to be able to choose.
